It started with a goal to live a healthy life but there was a problem...
I’ve always considered myself a “health freak,” while my husband sat proudly on the opposite end of the spectrum—chilled out, food-loving, and occasionally… lethargic. After our marriage, I discovered he had constant gut issues and constipation. And despite my obsession with fitness, I wasn’t perfectly healthy either—I struggled with stubborn migraines, gastric issues, occasional mood swings, stress etc.
Then came early 2025.
One morning, my husband complained of a strange pain in his left arm. We brushed it off at first, but the worry wouldn’t go away. The next day, he got his blood tests done. The reports shook us. His cholesterol was 248.
For someone like me who believed in taking charge of health, this felt like a personal mission. I wanted to help him bring his cholesterol down—without contemporary medicines—because the possible side effects scared me.
I began researching obsessively and discovered that high cholesterol is not just about food. It’s deeply tied to stress, gut health, and liver function. So we started a new morning routine: Arjun ki chhal, dalchini water, and overnight soaked seed water.
But reality hit hard.
I was a full-time working mom rushing to drop my toddler to school—and all these Ayurvedic “concoctions” were a daily hassle. Meanwhile, my husband hated drinking them because they smelled weird, tasted worse, and the pulp made them almost impossible to swallow.
That’s when the realization struck.
Ayurveda works beautifully—
but the hassle doesn’t.
People hesitate not because they doubt Ayurveda, but because preparing it daily is time-consuming, inconvenient, and not always pleasant.
And that moment planted the seed of Prakroot.
A brand born from a very real household struggle—a mother, a wife, a working woman trying to make Ayurveda simple, tasty, and practical.
A brand built for people like my husband who want health without “yucky” potions.
For families like ours who want wellness without changing their entire lifestyle.
At Prakroot, we believe Ayurveda isn’t a remedy—it’s a way of living.
And when it becomes easy to adopt every day, many emergencies can be prevented long before they arise.
Prakroot is our promise to simplify Ayurveda so every home can experience its power—without the hassle.
